MaxDiff, or Best-Worst Scaling, is used to estimate preference/importance scores for a set of items (e.g., brands, product features, product claims, etc.). MaxDiff exercises are made up of a series of tasks (questions) that ask respondents to choose a best and a worst among a subset, typically of 4-6 items at a time, of the total items. Learn how to create a MaxDiff in Discover 2.
