Generate and configure a survey link in the Share tab. The tab is divided into two sections: link preview and Variables.
This section displays the link to your live survey. You can copy the link by selecting the text or by clicking the Copy live link button. To view your live survey in a browser, click the Take live survey button, and the survey will open in a new tab. Any data collected will be saved into your dataset.
If you test your live survey, you may want to delete any test data before sending the survey to real respondents. This ensures that only valid responses are included in your dataset.
Variables are containers that store information. In scripting languages, variables can be configured to calculate, combine, and store various types of data. In this section, you can add them to the survey URL as Pass-in variables. These variables are especially useful when directing respondents from one survey or platform to another while retaining previously collected data (e.g., Respondent#, age, location, etc.).
Learn more about creating variables in the Variable manager article, and how to link/pass data between surveys in the Linking surveys and passing data article.
